Wolfgang Lehner was only twelve years old when he joined the voluntary fire department. Not only did he assume several fire service functions along the years, but he was also a member of the Austrian Rescue Dog Brigade. The trained company fire chief completed several fire service courses. He studied Integrated Safety and Security Management which he completed with distinction. For twelve years, he worked at Austria’s biggest listed industrial company where he held positions including security and crisis manager.
He completed several certified safety trainings such as:
• Security adviser for facility and perimeter protection
• Quality Manager EN ISO 9001
• Risk Manager ONR 49003
• Business Continuity and Corporate Security Manager ONR 192400
• Safety Expert according to SFK-VO 2002 as well as
• Emergency and Crisis Manager by the Federal Organization of Independent German Security Advisers and Engineers, registered association (BdSI)
He is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences FH Campus Wien and member of the standardization institute Austrian Standards.
