Martin Thalhammer

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, DE-ESCALATION

Martin Thalhammer has been working for 24 years as a paramedic for the rescue services Vienna, where he is currently the field supervisor and trainer in the Rescue Academy specialized in, among others, classes and trainings in emergency management  and special tactical situations.

  • Certified safety and de-escalation management trainer in public health.
  • Certified outdoor educator and trainer.
  • Certified mountain rescue worker.
  • Paramedic and field supervisor.

As a certified safety and de-escalation management trainer, he has been lecturing for many years on de-escalation. He contributed to several safety guidelines (among others, for the Federal Ministry of the Interior). As a nature lover and survival expert, he regularly organises adventure days in the forest and mountains in Austria and abroad.
